Jarred has been boxing his whole life. He grew up in a boxing family: His grandfather is a professional boxing judge, and his uncle boxed for UNR,

 

Jarred boxed for UNR as well. He was a 3 time NCBA (National Collegiate Boxing Association) all American and a 2015 132 pound national championJarred also received fighter of the tournament for the light weight division. 

 

He is currently an assistant coach for UNR's boxing team, and an assistant trainer for JJ Mariano, a professional boxer from Reno.
